Abstract Body The Korean Psychological Association (KPA) has operated the Seoul Metropolitan Psychological Support Center since October 2024 under a service contract with the Seoul Metropolitan Government to strengthen quality assurance and support public psychological services. Over the past two years, the Center has provided training and operational support for three initiatives: (1) the National “Mind Investment” Program (outcome monitoring and provider support); (2) counseling services across Seoul’s 26 districts (provider training and system support); and (3) disaster-related services for acute and subacute phases (PTSD workforce training and response manual development). This presentation summarizes key activities and outcomes, discusses implementation challenges and improvement directions, and considers how evidence-based treatments—particularly cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)—can be sustainably implemented and scaled within community-based public mental health services in Seoul.
