The presentations collectively address both prevention and treatment, ranging from early interventions in childhood trauma to clinical applications in adult populations and university settings. One contribution proposes a CBT model to reduce the legitimation of violence among children exposed to psychosocial trauma, integrating innovative assessment through digital role-playing environments. Another study evaluates a low-intensity online group CBT program implemented in a training clinic, demonstrating significant reductions in depression, anxiety, and stress, alongside improvements in emotional well-being. Complementing these findings, longitudinal evidence from individual synchronous online CBT interventions highlights sustained improvements in mental health outcomes and underscores the role of emotional functioning in technology acceptance. Additionally, psychometric research on self-efficacy among university students supports the cross-cultural applicability of validated instruments, reinforcing the importance of individual beliefs in psychological adjustment. Finally, a clinical case study illustrates the effectiveness of CBT techniques in reducing anxiety, depressive symptoms, and associated somatic conditions, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration in healthcare settings. Overall, the symposium underscores the relevance of CBT as a flexible, empirically supported approach, capable of adapting to digital contexts and addressing complex psychological demands across the lifespan. Beyond the scientific relevance of the presentations, the symposium stands out for its cultural diversity, as it encompasses the application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) across different countries in Latin America.
