The increasing demands faced by individuals across multiple domains of contemporary life have led to a growing search for specialized psychological support through psychotherapy. The Internship Program at the Cognitive-Behavioral Group Therapy Training Clinic of USP-Ribeirão Preto (CBGT) aims to promote emotional regulation, encourage self-care, and foster self-compassion and acceptance in response to diverse life demands. In this context, the present study aimed to evaluate the outcomes of four years of implementation of an online group intervention program designed for therapist training within a public training-clinic setting. A quantitative design was employed, based on pre- and post-intervention scores from the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale (DASS-21) and mood rating scales, in a sample of 422 participants. The analyses indicated statistically significant differences between pre- and post-test measures. Overall, participants in the intervention groups demonstrated reductions in depression, anxiety, and stress scores, as well as increased levels of hope as assessed by mood ratings. Although further studies with larger samples are warranted, the findings suggest that the program has been effective in achieving its intended objectives.
